Responsibilities & Context:(Persons having experience on livelihood programming for persons with disabilities will get preference)Location of Posting: Ukhiya, Cox's BazarContract Duration: Till 31st March, 2026Job SummaryPROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement UK Resilience and Adaptation Fund (RAF) in the Rohingya and host community of Cox's Bazar with the technical support of Handicap International. ROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Project Manager (PM) for the RAF Project to start from 1st October, 2025.ReportingProject Manager will report to Program Manager (Livelihood & Social Cohesion) of PROTTYASHI. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization's other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementResponsible to oversee all project activities in refugee and host communities for the persons with disabilities and be the main contact point for the project, government and other stakeholders.Lead the livelihood initiatives taken from the project ensuring efficiency and quality as per Livelihood and Skill Development Sector (LSDS) guidelines.Ensuring programme management and financial management functioning collaboratively and in compliance with accepted standardsResponsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, and mentoring, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes etc.Assist to the project team and other stakeholders define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goal of the programme.Troubleshoot project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, identify and implement creative solution for smooth project managementSupervise all the other project staffs through maintaining regular communication with the project staffs and conducting regular field visit.Provide support and monitor the implementation of project activities according to the workplan and scheduled timeline.Provide technical support to the direct beneficiaries in case of arising any complication in the field.CoordinationMaintain liaison with the funding partners and head office of the PROTTYASHI for successfully implementation of the project activities.Maintain communication with different stakeholders such as Office of the RRRC, CiCs, LSDS and other relevant authorities involved with the project.Planning, initiating and reviewing external communication to promote project activities on various platforms.Maintain close coordination with PROTTYASHI operational units including MEAL, procurement, finance, HR, knowledge management and other key units.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare weekly/monthly/quarterly progress report with the cooperation of other project staffs and submit to PROTTYASHI management.Assist Project Officer (Finance) to prepare quarterly financial report.Prepare document of all events and program learning, process, and impacts of project should be sent to the PROTTYASHI Management.Nurturing relationship with the press to mobilize it as and designing content for proactive media campaign as well as for publishing in local and national media.Collect field level evidence of project activities through photographs and send it to the central monitoring team of PROTTYASHI.Organizational values and norms towards Safeguarding and PSEAPROTTYASHI is committed to preventing any type of unwanted behaviour at work including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, lack of integrity and financial misconduct and expects staff to promote the welfare of children, young people and adults at all times.   • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Masters degree in any discipline
Experience:
  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Additional Job Requirements:At least 05 years of professional experience in national or international organizations in coordinating similar projects.Having specific experience on managing projects targeting persons with disabilities.Technical SkillsSkill of photographyMust have professional writing and speaking capacity in English and Bangla, i.e. monitoring report, field visit report, event report, case study/story, press release, content writing, etc.Proficient with MS office suiteAble to take decision in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task work seamlesslyCompensation & Other Benefits:Monthly Gross Salary will be 95,000 BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.Company Information:A Voluntary Social Development Organization
