Responsibilities & Context:Organization: Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) is one of the largest non-profit trade organizations of the country established back in 1958. DCCI is an organization of the businessmen/entrepreneurs which plays an important role in economic policy advocacy with the Government to ensure a business-friendly environment in the country. DCCI, by its formation is a member-based organization and this prestigious organization represents more that 5000+ valued members. DCCI, since its inception, has been relentlessly working for the betterment of the business ecosystem in the country as well as it advocates for the greater interest of the business community as a whole. DCCI also acts as the key platform in arranging public-private dialogue to discuss contemporary trade and investment issues along with wide range of macro and micro economic aspects.Job Responsibilities:Facilitate the valued Members of DCCI through different services like enrolling new membership, membership renewal, name/address change, issuing type certificate, Country of Origin (CO) certificates, Document Attestation etc.Maintain and update the membership database software with day-to-day input;Record keeping in the membership database software;Expedite membership enrollment process, initiate membership campaign on different occasions, managing various initiatives of enhancing numbers of membership.Support the interested entrepreneurs to be member of DCCI by facilitating them with relevant and related information.Supervise the Membership Department, planning process simplification, process map, regular cross check with database and accounts, internal membership auditing, ensure 'zero tolerance' level of compliance;Prepare weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and yearly membership report/statement covering graphical presentation of statistical overview; prepare comparison and submission of daily report to the Accounts & Finance Department as well as to the CEO.Issuing different emails, circulars, notice and announcements to the valued Members.Addressing different issues of membership services of DCCI. Daily collaboration and Liaison with DCCI Gulshan Centre and Mohammadpur Service Zone and compilation of daily membership status centrally.Maintaining membership database and prepare updated voter list.Follow up dormant members for their membership revival/renewal. Facilitating tele-marketing for better exposer of membership campaign.Content creation for promoting membership enhancement activities through social media.Regular liaison with the Finance and Administration department.Ensure better services through the Membership Service Desk at DCCI.Education Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Business Studies (MBS)
  • Master of Business Management (MBM)
Master's degree/MBA/MBM/MBS from reputed University with no 3rd division/class at any level.Experience:
  • At least 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At most 45 years
Minimum 12-year experience in the related field along with administrative job experience at any reputed organization. Working in any trade body will be treated as an added advantage.IT Skills: Competent in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Software based ERP solutions, fluent writing/typing skill both in Bangla and English. Adapting to any software particularly with membership database software and MIS.Other Skills:Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, leadership quality.Strong communication skills both in Bangla and English, good presentation skills.Excellent English writing skill and able to prepare good power point presentation.Must have good IT skills especially in MS Word, Excel, Power Point.Mindset to work as a team under pressure, hard-working.Positive attitude, patient, and empathetic towards clients.Mindset to coordinate, collaborate and liaison with other departments.Compensation & Other Benefits:As per organization`s policy and structure/negotiable.
