Responsibilities & Context:iDS Bangladesh is one of the leading nationwide Internet Service Providers, delivering high-speed connectivity, reliable networking, and innovative digital solutions to individuals and enterprises. As part of our growth journey, we are seeking a highly driven and strategic professional to join as Head of Business Development to lead our business growth initiatives and market expansion.Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, corporate clients, and enterprise solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth through B2B, B2C, and wholesale channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Prepare business forecasts, proposals, and investment plans for senior management.
Client Acquisition & Partnerships
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with enterprises, government organizations, and corporate clients.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to design customized solutions.
  • Oversee the bidding and RFP/RFQ response process for large-scale contracts.
Sales & Marketing Alignment
  • Lead, train, and motivate the Business Development and Sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns to promote ISP services.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department for brand positioning and promotional activities.
  • Define pricing strategies, service bundles, and corporate offers.
Leadership & Reporting
  • Build and manage a high-performance business development team.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement.
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to senior management with recommendations.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Additional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Strategic Management will be an advantage.Experience:
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Telecommunication, ISP

  • Age 35 to 50 years

  • In-depth knowledge of ISP/Telecom products, pricing models, and market trends.

  • Solid understanding of Internet Service Provider/Telecom industry and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
