The position of Signalling and Telecommunications Lead Specialist is the key position in these BIDs. Missions/Main Duties:
  • Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System);
  • Manage and supervise all Specialist staff related to the Signalling and Telecommunications, PAS and PIS;
  • Be responsible for supervising the design, installation, commissioning and testing of the signalling and telecommunications system, including the train operation control system;
  • Review and check the Contractor(s)’ design of the train control system, including the signalling and telecommunications system of the entire project, in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements;
  • Supervise the installation's progress, conduct inspections for quality, quantity, and safety, and check the maintainability of the system, facilities, and equipment;
  • Assist the Client in testing and commissioning on completion of the
train control system; * Assist Interface Management Lead Specialist in interface management issues;
  • Assist in resolving actual and potential claims from the Contractor(s) during the manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning stages;
  • Assist in System integration for the Railway System and Any other jobs the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System) assigns.
Profile/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 15 years of professional experience
  • Must have proficiency in English
  • 10 years of professional experience in signalling and telecommunications, including one large-scale (preferably >USD 0.5 billion) underground/ elevated
metro rail project * 2 years of work experience in outside Expert’s country
