Responsibilities & Context:Production & Operational LeadershipLead the end-to-end production process, including Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Shipment.Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets with buyer-required quality standards.Plan, monitor, and execute production schedules to meet shipment deadlines.Monitor hourly production output and implement corrective actions for productivity improvement.Maintain optimum man, machine & material utilization to maximize efficiency.Guide the IE (Industrial Engineering) team to develop effective line layouts and improve SMV & efficiency.Supervise all operational staff, including DGM, AGM, Managers, In-charge, and Line Chiefs, to ensure discipline and accountability.Strategic Planning & ControlDevelop and implement strategic operational objectives aligned with company goals.Ensure smooth coordination with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, HR, Admin, Compliance & Quality departments.Review daily production & quality reports, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures.Ensure cut-to-ship ratio improvement and reduce wastage across all production stages.Support Management in strategic planning and expansion of production capacity.QualityEnsure strict quality control across all production processes to meet international standards (AQL, buyer COC, etc.).Take corrective measures for quality deviations and ensure all garments are export-worthy.Maintain a safe, healthy, and efficient workplace in line with compliance regulations.Maintain compliance with buyer-specific quality standards (e.g. Walmart, C&A, Aldi, NEXT, etc.).Cost Control & EfficiencyEnsure cost reduction measures in raw material usage, utilities, and production overhead.Implement price-controlled policies at every production stage.Drive revenue maximization and budgetary control with minimum wastage.People DevelopmentProvide hands-on leadership to foster high-performing teams.Arrange training & development programs for production staff to enhance skills.Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and ownership among all production staff.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's/Master's in Textile/Engineering/Production Management/any relevant discipline.Experience: At least 20 years of relevant experience in the garments/textile industry production, with at least 5 years in GM role.Age: Around 45 years (flexible for highly experienced candidates).Strong leadership ability with excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Sound knowledge of compliance, HR, labor law, and factory audits.Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations with confidence.Excellent communication skills in Bangla & English.Skills & ExpertiseProduction & Operations ManagementLean Manufacturing & Productivity ImprovementCompliance & Social Audit HandlingTeam Leadership & People ManagementCost Control & Process OptimizationKnowledge of IE, SMV, and Line LayoutShipment & Supply Chain CoordinationAdditional Job Requirements:
