Responsibilities & Context:Job Context
  • Reportable to: Chief Executive Officer and Programme Partnership Manager
Job ResponsibilitiesM&E Planning and Implementation
  • Develop project-specific Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) plans, frameworks, and tools, ensuring the implementation of a regular planning cycle in line with the M&E plan.
  • Identify appropriate indicators for monitoring program activities and outcomes, and ensure the use of common tools, methods, and standards across project activities to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality program monitoring and evaluation systems, frameworks, methodologies, tools, analysis, and reporting, in line with donor requirements.
Capacity Building and Orientation
  • Orient project staff, community members, and stakeholders on M&E processes and tools while providing guidance to team members, assistants, and network partners to ensure effective operation of the M&E system.
Field Visits and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Frequently travel to project areas for monitoring and mobilization activities and engage with stakeholders, partner organizations, and beneficiary communities to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
Data Management and Analysis
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring accurate documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and success stories in both Bangla and English.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use statistical software for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience of statistical packages and/or data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, Power BI, etc.) and advanced computer skills (word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases).
Reporting and Knowledge Sharing
  • Develop standardized reporting formats and templates for the project, ensuring timely and concise reporting of project progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Liaise with Documentation Officers, Project Officers, and other relevant staff to disseminate information and lessons learned effectively.
Evaluation and Quality Assurance
  • Support quality baseline, midterm, and final evaluation studies. This includes developing evaluation TORs, supporting the recruitment of external consultants, liaising with consultants during the evaluation, and reviewing evaluation reports.
  • Conduct quality assessments, including baseline, designing methodologies relevant to the program indicators, designing tools, training and supervising enumerators, conducting data cleaning and analysis, and writing clear evaluation study reports.
Project Management and Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain a gender-sensitive approach throughout the project lifecycle and demonstrate effective project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support successful project implementation.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management to contribute to organizational learning and development.
Education Requirements:
  • Master of Development Studies (MDS)
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Geography and Environment
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics
  • Master of Social Science (MSS)
Experience:
  • 2 to 3 years
