Responsibilities & Context:Sylhet Regency, a prestigious hospitality destination in Ambarkhana, Sylhet, is looking for a proactive and experienced professional to join our team as an HR & Admin In-Charge.Location: Sylhet Regency, Ambarkhana, SylhetDepartment: Human Resources & AdministrationReporting To: General Manager / Managing DirectorJob Summary:The HR & Admin In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of human resource management and administrative operations at Sylhet Regency. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR functions, compliance, employee management, payroll coordination, and administrative supervision within the hospitality sector.Key Responsibilities:Human Resources:
  • Manage recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and confirmation processes.
  • Maintain staff attendance, leave, and overtime records.
  • Prepare monthly salary sheets and coordinate with accounts.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and manage performance appraisals.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and ensure policy compliance.
  • Organise training, staff development, and internal orientation sessions.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee files and digital records.
Administrative:
  • Oversee administrative operations across all departments.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of facilities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain inventory of administrative assets and supplies.
  • Ensure all licenses and certificates are up-to-date.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Ensure security and emergency systems are maintained.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HRM, or relevant disciplineExperience:
  • At least 5 years
Additional Job Requirements:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR/Admin roles in the hotel/hospitality industry.Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and HR-related software tools.Compensation & Other Benefits:Meals during working hours.Staff discounts at hotel and restaurant facilities.Yearly increment and performance bonus based on review.
