Rooted in values of justice, equity, and sustainability, RDRS implements a diverse portfolio of programs ranging from microfinance, health, education, livelihoods, youth empowerment, agriculture, and climate resilience to humanitarian response.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and values-driven Female Head of Human Resources to lead and transform our HR function. As a key member of the senior leadership team, she will drive people-centered strategies, foster a culture of excellence and inclusion, and ensure HR systems align with RDRS's mission and evolving organizational needs.Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR LeadershipDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with RDRS's mission, values, and strategic objectives.Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on organizational development, change management, and workforce planning.Lead initiatives for organizational culture transformation, staff wellbeing, and gender equity.Promote digitalization/automation of day-to-day HR activities with the unit and across the organization.In coordination with Senior Management Team (SMT) and guidance from the Board of Trustees update and refine HR policies, structures, systems and process to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.Oversee data driven decision making by adopting monitoring framework, HR matrix dashboard and conducting internal HR audits.Ensure safeguarding systems are strong, survivor centered, and responsive in coordination with safeguarding focal points.Talent ManagementOversee full-cycle talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and succession planning.Build a robust talent pipeline and retention strategy to support programmatic excellence.HR Operations and ComplianceEnsure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with local labor laws and donor requirements.Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures with fairness and transparency.Capacity Building and Leadership DevelopmentPromote a culture of continuous learning, capacity building, and leadership development across the organization.Design and deliver training programs in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.Diversity, Equity & InclusionChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.Create safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces free from harassment and discrimination.Education Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
Master's degree in any discipline or MBA from reputed University with major in Human Resource / Management / Public Administration / Marketing/ Psychology / Anthropology or any other related discipline.Post-graduate Diploma (PGD) in HR will be an added advantage.Experience:
  • At least 10 years

RDRS was formally established as the Bangladesh field program of the Geneva-based Lutheran World Federation/Department for World Service (LWF/DWS) on 8 February 1972. Its development aim is to achieve sustainable increases in their living standards. With this aim, RDRS enables those who participate in its program to gain the necessary skills, understanding, confidence, institutions and services; and ensure that the rural communities have the necessary economic, social and environmental resources. RDRS employees approximate 3,700 staff and works with a further approximately 1,000 volunteers and daily paid workers. The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.
