- Rank: Senior Vice President (SVP) to Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP).
- Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align training and development strategies with organizational goals and overall HR strategy.
- Program Development: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs covering various areas, including professional development, leadership skills, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Needs Assessment: Identify training needs across the bank and develop targeted programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
- Content & Delivery: Oversee the creation of training materials and the delivery of programs through various methods, including workshops, e-learning, and coaching.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with different branches and departments/divisions/units of Head Office to encourage cross-training, promoting workforce flexibility and collaboration.
- Performance Measurement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and provide feedback to senior management.
- Material Management: Maintaining training materials such as resources, libraries, Classrooms, online resources etc., and ensuring they are up to date. Build partnerships with external learning providers, universities, and consultants.
- Logistics & Scheduling: Managing logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, booking venues and tracking attendance and costs.
- Digital Learning Transformation: Implement and manage digital learning platforms (LMS) to deliver flexible, on-demand learning solutions. Leverage data analytics and AI tools to personalize learning experiences and track development progress. Drive a paperless, technology-enabled learning environment aligned with the bank's digital journey.
- Budget Management: Manage the training and development budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Compliance & Governance: To ensure compliance with Terms of References (ToRs), promoting honest and responsible behavior across the bank by following ethical codes and anti-corruption rules. Maintain accurate training records for audits and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Internal Control units to ensure aligned learning delivery.

- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Finance & Banking
- At least 12 years

- Robust organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong command of English and Bangla (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate laws, banking regulations and governance practices.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and HR best practices.
- Highest level of professionalism and should be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Proven experience in HRM with a strong focus on training and development, preferably in a leadership role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, strong problem-solving abilities, and a strategic mindset.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development with at least 5 years in a leadership role at Training Institute, preferably in a reputed Bank or Financial Institution.
- Proven track record in:
- Driving learning culture and employee engagement.
- Designing and executing large-scale learning interventions.
- Using digital platforms and data analytics for learning impact.
- Managing training governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Tech-savvy mindset with experience in digital tools and learning platforms.
