Responsibilities & Context:Lead and manage the HR & Compliance functions of the knit and woven garments factory.Ensure full compliance with labor laws, buyer codes of conduct, and local/ international compliance standards (e.g., BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, Accord, Alliance).Prepare and face compliance audits by buyers and third-party organizations.Manage and monitor factory certifications, social compliance, health & safety, and environmental sustainability.Maintain and update factory policies and employee handbooks in line with labor law and buyer requirements.Handle recruitment, onboarding, payroll, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluation.Conduct regular internal audits and training sessions on compliance, safety, and code of conduct.Liaise with government bodies (DIFE, DoL, Fire Service, etc.) and local authorities when needed.Promote a positive working environment, ensuring workplace harmony and employee engagement.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
PGDHRM, along with Compliance-related training/certification, will be an added advantage.Experience:
  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Only Male
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (Amended 2013, 2018)In-depth understanding of HR practices, compliance audits, and social compliance standardsExcellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsComputer proficiency in MS Office, HRM software, and reporting toolsFluent in Bangla and English.Skills & Expertise:Bangladesh Labor Law,Compliance Management,Environmental Compliance,Factory Compliance,HR Compliance,Internal Audit and Compliance,ISO Certifications,Regulatory Compliance,Safety complianceCompensation & Other Benefits:
