Responsibilities & Context:AkijBashir Energy Limited, (ABEL), seeks to appoint an experienced Head of Corporate Sales, who, will spearhead the sales operations of cable and wire products at the B2B and public procurement level. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth through client acquisition, retention of existing business, and developing long-term strategic relationships with institutional and government clients. This role demands leadership, market insight, and proactive engagement with stakeholders to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead corporate and public sector sales of cable and wire products, ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targetsAcquire new clients and retain existing accounts by building and maintaining strong business relationshipsMonitor cable industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements to identify opportunities for market growth and differentiationDevelop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans, including promotional campaigns and brand awareness initiativesPrepare periodic reports (daily, monthly, half-yearly, yearly) on sales performance, market development, credit realization, and customer portfolioAnalyze sales and collection data to prepare forecasts and budgets aligned with business objectivesWork with Marketing and Sales teams to implement proactive sales activities, ensuring KPI achievementLeverage digital platforms (webinars, virtual meetings, digital events) to engage clients effectively, especially where travel is constrainedTravel extensively across territories to engage directly with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and procurement agenciesMaintain a strong command of product knowledge to deliver presentations and ensure product suitability for client applicationsEducation Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Steel, Electric Wire/Cable, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.)
