Responsibilities & Context:About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and fluent English-speaking Live Chat Agent to support the customer service operations of a leading U.S.-based digital marketing company. This is a critical frontline role where you'll engage website visitors through real-time chat, answer questions, capture lead information, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across a wide range of client industries including real estate and senior living.Employment Type: Full-time (Late Night Shift)Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to live chat inquiries across multiple websites with clarity, speed, and professionalism
  • Use pre-written scripts, client websites, and personalized messaging to communicate effectively
  • Handle up to 5 simultaneous conversations while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Accurately gather and record visitor information and chat details
  • Follow conversation tagging protocols and escalate sensitive issues per established guidelines
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay aligned with process and performance goals
  • Uphold customer satisfaction, typing speed, and communication KPIs
  • Comply with all applicable data privacy and security requirements
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Honors
Experience:
  • At least 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): BPO/ Data Entry Firm, Call Center
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 22 to 35 years
  • Initial training (1-2 weeks) will be conducted over Zoom with the U.S.-based team
  • This is a night shift role aligned with U.S. time zones
  • You must have a strong command of English and be ready to demonstrate it in testing and interviews
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support, live chat, or call center roles
  • Excellent written English (grammar, spelling, sentence structure must be near-native)
  • Strong typing speed (minimum 40 WPM, ideally 50+) with high accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple chats without compromising quality
  • High reading comprehension and ability to follow scripts and structured responses
  • Familiarity with chat platforms and CRM tools preferred
  • Ability to work U.S. Pacific Time hours during training (9 AM-5 PM PDT), with flexibility for shift changes afterward
  • Quiet workspace, stable internet, power backup, and dual-monitor setup strongly preferred
  • IELTS score of 7.0+ (optional but a strong plus)
  • Must be professional, empathetic, and quick to learn new systems
