- Consulting with women on how to ensure they retain control over resources and assets Intended for their benefit;
- Addressing household and childcare responsibilities as part of the program;
- Promoting women's empowerment by offering safe income alternatives, building knowledge and fostering independence.
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
- At least 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
- Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong mentality to work with displaced people as well as sexual and gender-based violence survivors
- Strong experience from a humanitarian / NGO setting with relevant professional experience in the field of sexual exploitation and abuse, protection, gender-based violence, staff misconduct and discipline, gender mainstreaming and/or humanitarian affairs
- Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team performance
- Communication & Coordination Skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and Assertive
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
- Experience in writing brief narrative reports
- Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
